Main Objectives

Specific Objectives:

  • To promote the development of high-quality health service deliveries and improve community healthcare strategy.
  • To establish a forum for the exchange of ideas and information among regional national planners, policymakers, academicians, administrators, various statutory bodies, and the general public for the improvement of Hospital and Healthcare Delivery Systems, addressing challenges such as COVID-19 and African taboos related to health issues.
  • To develop norms and standards for accreditation for regional Healthcare Organizations/industries and adopt means of evaluating such institutions, to enhance the quality of healthcare deliveries in the region.
  • To act as regional health Advisory centers of excellence/Consultative organizations, facilitating the best interests of communities, national health systems, regional governments, public and private sector healthcare industries, mission healthcare delivery organizations, and other health-related organizations to improve overall health outcomes.
  • To support the development and preparation of health guidelines, journals, SOPs, Training Manuals, healthcare program research outcome dissemination, sensitization programs, and literature books promoting Health Care Management, Quality, standardization, Accreditation, certification, Health Care Technology, and digital innovation transfer that promote reform and improvement of care in the region.
  • To support and facilitate recognition of individuals and healthcare institutions that have made exceptional strides and significant contributions in the field of Health reform initiatives for improved Healthcare Management, systems, and services within the region.
